Hi, I’m Mackenzie

I’m a Functional Health Coach and FDNP who specializes in helping people stuck in the cycle of trial and error address the root cause of their hormone and gut imbalances.

 

Five years ago, I was exactly where you are...

Searching for answers and someone who could help me get to the root of my acne, debilitating PMS, mental health struggles, and digestive issues. I was constantly told my labs were normal and that I was overreacting to my symptoms. I spent thousands seeing cardiologists, neurologists, and gastroenterologists, only to walk away with a list of diagnoses—POTS, IBS, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

No one could explain what these diagnoses meant for my daily life or how to truly get better—only how they would limit me moving forward. At just 23, I was told to expect spending several days a week in bed with severe nausea and bloating, that exercise was off the table, and that I should accept this as my "new normal."

But then, I decided I wasn't going to take no for an answer….

I had heard about functional medicine and, what did I have to lose, I had tried everything else. I found a Functional Health Coach who had gone through similar experiences, and after just five months of working with her, my life completely changed—I finally started feeling like myself again.

 

I finally felt in control of my life again 

I was waking up energized, working out daily, and my cystic acne had cleared. I could finally eat without pain or bloating. After 15 years, I came off hormonal birth control, no longer needed the SSRIs that once got me through the day, and got into the best shape of my life.

I started saying yes to dates again, going out with friends, and enjoying my work like I used to. My entire life transformed—because I refused to give up.

 

This is why I'm here today.
